Custom Framing Your Needlework

example of needlework framing with oval mat
This is a customer’s needlework for a wedding gift. I made an oval double mat that complemented the work and a simple but nice wood moulding the customer liked.
This is a quilt made for a company that is in the rail transportation business.  I made a hand-wrapped burgundy linen liner and used a solid oak moulding.  It was quite impressive measuring roughly 24” x 80”.

My customer wanted this needlework framed simple, no mat, and this piece looks nice like that.
This was framed for a customer to enter into a competition. They needed it framed so that the stitching and knots on the back could be seen by the judges.  I was happy to fulfill their need.

After spending many hours making your needlework, framing it with just the right moulding and mats will make it even more beautiful, whether given as a gift or just for yourself.  And you can trust WOLFrames to handle it just as carefully as any other fine art. I never glue down needlework or use tape on them.  Your piece is stretched on an acid- free board and secured with stainless steel pins to keep the weave of the fabric as straight as possible.  I might use 100 pins (or usually more) on one needlework.
